Your first time

What to expect at a flamenco show

These simple pointers help first-time visitors arrive with context and enjoy live flamenco.

A live stage experience

Flamenco brings together dance, singing and musical accompaniment. Clapping and rhythm contribute to the energy, with moments that can be intense and others more restrained. Duration varies by venue and format, so check before booking.

Atmosphere

The setting is often close to the performers. Quiet helps the audience hear the detail.

Clothing

There is no single required dress code. Choose comfortable clothes for your travel plans.

Photos and video

Follow the venue's instructions and avoid screens distracting from the performance.
